Mercer pal Issa named Most Corrupt Congressman

For his actions on Fast and Furious, on Sept. 23 House Oversight Chairman Darrell Issa (R-CA) has been honored as The Most Corrupt Member of Congress "for illegally revealing confidential information from a sealed wiretap in the Congressional Record — while leading a politically-motivated witch hunt intended to hurt [President] Obama and Attorney General Eric Holder — and then shielding himself from reproach and censure by claiming that he, as a member of Congress, had constitutional protections for his unethical actions."

Issa's rush to attack Holder was nothing more than a publicity stunt that cost the taxpayers millions of dollars, an expense that could have been avoided had Issa had the restraint to wait until the DOJ's Inspector General report had completed. Issa is now lauding the 500 page report which ironically has exonerated Holder and recommended discipline for 14 high ranking DOJ officials.

Issa, shown here with Gabriela Saucedo Mercer, candidate for AZ CD 3,  recently attacked the President, saying on FOX news that Obama has a hit list of enemies and compared him to his party's worst, Richard Nixon.

“Not since Richard Nixon have we seen a president who puts together an enemies list and has a whole team pursuing it,” Issa said on Fox News’s “Fox and Friends.”

I guess he forgot about George W. Bush's Iraqi playing cards.

Mercer, in a facebook comment, says "Issa does not have ties to ANY terrorist organizations nor does he engage in destructive behavior against US citizens. Rep. Issa is leading the investigation on the botched Fast & Furious gun running scandal that Attorney General Eric Holder is trying to wiggle out of. As a matter of fact this man is one of my heroes! Viva Darrell Issa and God Bless the USA!"
